"Could I get that on paper?" she teased as the attendant shut the door. She set her soda carefully down by her feet and sat on the bench opposite Jeremy, taking a large bite of the pink cotton candy.
"Don't you dare!" she exclaimed with a laugh as he insisted on paying her back. "It's my be-happy present. But, if it'll make you feel better, next time I'm upset, I will come to you so you can buy me a cotton candy," she answered, grinning. The Ferris Wheel started up as she spoke, pushing their cart higher into the air.
"Is my master plan working?" she asked curiously, happily devouring her own fluff of cotton candy.

"Deal." He nodded solidly to their plan about the money, and then happily took a bite of the cotton candy. It was like heaven the way it just melted on his tongue, the sweet taste putting his mouth in a state of bliss. Jeremy needed to eat sugary foods more often; this was absolutely scrumptious. He took a swig of his Frostie and felt pure delight.
"Your master plan is doing so much more than working," He laughed, bouncing in his seat a little. "I haven't felt this energetic since forever!" Jeremy didn't realize that sugar could have that effect on you sometimes. Either way, Andrea had successfully cheered him up. He looked outside the cart as they were lifted higher in the air.
"Don't you just love ferris wheels?"

"I love sugar," she mused aloud, happily biting off another mouthful of sugary goodness. "I do!" she exclaimed in agreement, leaning over the edge and looking down. She hated heights; it was part of why she hated roller coasters. Even Ferris Wheels could scare her sometimes, just because they got so high up and left you there for so long. But she wasn't scared right then, high as this particular Ferris Wheel was. Maybe it was the sugar coursing through her system, or maybe the happy adrenaline rush she got from cheering Jeremy up. Either way, she was surprisingly not scared, and she liked it.
She sat back down, reaching down for her Diet Coke and taking a sip. She was likewise bouncing atop the plastic seat, just as enthused as Jeremy was. And he had thought he'd ruin her day, psh. She leaned back in her seat, a wide smile on her face. "You should have sugar more often," she laughed as he continued to bounce.

"I should have sugar more often," Jeremy agreed, lapping up some more of his cotton candy. His eyes remained focused on the view, watching as the lit up roller coasters took dips and sharp spins, and the people became smaller and smaller as they went higher. Pretty soon they looked like small specks on the ground. Jeremy shivered in the cold night air, seeing as they were pretty far up.
"I also need to hang out with you more often. I usually spend my nights doing homework and sleeping. This is a rather nice change of pace." He said with a small smile, taking another sip of his Frostie.

push me till i have to fly , i’ve shed my skin, my scars, so take me deep out past these lights, where nothing dims these stars Andrea beamed as Jeremy agreed with her, contently nibbling at her cotton candy. She had put a rather significant dent into the cloud of pink sugar already; normally a rather slow eater, she found cotton candy surprisingly quick to eat. Which would explain why it was nearly half gone.
She laughed at his next comment. "Well, seeing as I basically have no life, I'm just about always around," she laughed. "We should hang out more. I miss this," she agreed, smiling softly. She'd been away for a while, and until now, she hadn't really realized how much she missed hanging out with people from Stewart: Jeremy, Sammie, Ben, Dasha, Curly, Anne. Especially Jeremy.
"I think the Ferris Wheel, the carousel, and the kiddie rides are the only rides I like here," she mused with a laugh as their cart came to a slow stop at the top of the arc. She looked carefully over the ledge, around at the different rides. Roller coasters; shiver. Carnival games; stupid and expensive and rarely end in a prize. All of the other rides that weren't specifically designed for preschoolers and potty-trainers went too fast or too high and made her cringe, thus affirming her statement. She sat back down, took another sip of her Diet Coke, and grinned. "We are very high up," she informed the blond boy with a confident nod of her head.
