Andrea chuckled, then stopped, cocked her head to the side and raised a brow. "I wonder if that really could be bad luck or a curse or something," she mused aloud. After thinking on this for a brief moment, Andrea shrugged, forgetting about it, and broke out into a grin again. She took her half and examined it for a moment, twirling it carefully between her fingers. She'd have to find a good place to keep her newfound good luck charm.
She jumped as his alarm began to sound, clearly taken by surprise. A laugh escaped her lips as she discovered the origin of the noise - the watch secured around Jeremy's wrist. She frowned slightly as he got up to go, likewise getting to her feet. Though she almost laughed - what student other than Jeremy would be asked by a teacher for help?
"Yeah, I'll see you around," she replied, smiling. For lack of anything else to do with it, she tucked her half of the clover behind one ear, then gave Jeremy another hug. It was funny that she had to jump a little bit to properly get her arms around her neck, or at least she was vaguely entertained by their increased difference in heights. She'd just have to start wearing heels, since everyone else was getting even taller and she was stuck at five feet and three-quarters of an inch. How lame.
Andrea pulled away from the hug and grinned. "Have fun helping your teacher," she laughed, waving energetically. And now, back to Steven King. The very thought of where she was in the book sent the lightest of shivers running down her spine, and she found that, despite the warm summery weather, goosebumpbs had appeared out of no where on the skin of her arms as she thought of Mike Ryerson getting bitten by a vampire. Shaking it off, she walked the few feet back to where her bag was and sat back down, rummaging through the bag and grabbing her book.
