I’m racing the devil, so sly You cannot hear him coming
Dasha had woken up and looked at her hair. Then she had suddenly burst out laughing. It was almost like a half afro sticking up on one side and flat down on the other. This had basically made her in a good mood for the rest of the day. After a long shower and a lot of conditioner her hair actually looked alright.
She had danced over to her wardrobe and looked. It took her a good three minutes of staring before she realized she had no idea what to wear. She closed her eyes and reached into her closet and took out the first two things her hands touched. Of course she picked out two pants and she then sighed. She rolled her eyes. “Oh fuck it.” She muttered as she picked out a white shirt and almost spandex bright blue pants. She looked in the mirror and twisted up her face. She needed something extra she ran over the her jewelry case and grabbed a few black necklaces and threw them around her neck, adjusting her hair and smiling. Perfect.
Now that she was presentable to the world she had to figure out what to do. She ran threw a mental list as she got up and twirled around. She wanted to do something…danceish. Like…like…ice skating. She grabbed her iPod and was about to close the door when she remembered she didn’t have her key…or ice skates. After actually slowing down a bit she took her bag, with keys and ice skates, and made her way to the rink.
She smiled a bit and closed her eyes as she felt the cold air break over her. She sat down and laced up her ice skates and turned on her iPod. She knew the perfect song. Little of Your Time by Maroon 5. She ran and then jumped on the ice, actually managing not to fall.
“We are just passionately lovers, with trouble under the covers.” She sang out the line as she danced on the ice. She managed to actually retain some grace as she danced on the ice. Her hips swayed back and forth and her hair spun around as she twirled and skated backwards.
She skated to the middle of the rink and spun around as the song ended and panted a bit and looked up at the sky. “Hell yeah.” She muttered and started to go around the rink again.

Chemistry was crazy from the get-go *; Neither one of us knew why. WE DIDN'T BUILD NOTHING OVERNIGHT.
Quin had woken up, in a bit of a daze. He already felt quite out of it. He wasn't sure what it was. The male wasn't on anything. He shrugged as he folded his blankets back, just enough that he could slip out of his bed. He wasn't sure why he did this, instead of just flinging his blankets back. But, then again, that wasn't like Quin at all. Quin was quiet, nice, sweet, kind, anything that he needed. Well, not really. It was just in his nature to be kind to people.
He did have his moments when he got mad, but he soon got over it. His anger was one of the many curious things about Quin. The male let out a breath of air as he stood before his closet, his hand ruffling up his hair a bit. The gesture was a bit of scratching, and just to get his hair like that. He never ment to do it, like in a need to do way. It just happened sometimes. Another thing that happened quite often was him biteing down on his lip, like he was doing now. This to, was one of the things he and his sister had in common.
Quin yawned, and stretched his arms and whole body upward, trying to fully wake himself up. He shook his head as he reached into his closet, grabbing a shirt and a pair of pants. It was totally random, and he didn't know what they where until he had them on, and was now looking at himself in the mirror. Quin had put on a dark green t-shirt and a pair of light blue jeans. He slipped on his sneakers as he looked at himself in the mirror one more time, turnign this was way and that. He grabbed some money and his phone and slid them into his pocket.
He wasn't sure where he was going today, but found himself infront of the skateing rink. He chewed on his lip as he entered the building, looking around before walking up to a counter, and paying the person, and getting some skates. Quin didn't have a pair of his own, seeing as he rarely came down here. But, he did like to skate, he just wasn't very good at it. He let out a small sigh as he sat down on a bench, taking off her sneakers, and putting on the skates.
Once he had laced them up, he stepped out onto the rink, bracing himself. He even looked around before he slowly made his way to the middle of the rink. He had zoned out a bit, and hadn't seen the girl dancing and skating about. He was shocked, and scared shitless, as he had collided wit h the girl, and had fallen down. Quin font it weird that he was always running into people, and falling down. But, then again, he was almost always zoned out, off in his own little world.

Dasha bumped into a boy. Well bumped into was more like crashed into someone. All she knew was she had been skating and into a new song. She had actually been closing her eyes and hadn’t noticed the new person coming in. She was now splayed on her butt. She blinked a bit and moved her retro headphones around her neck. “Oh m gee! I’m sorry I wasn’t looking where I was going. ‘Course I don’t think you were either but it’s all good.” She smirked and started to get up. Of course then she tripped and landed on her stomach. Seemed that her strange bout gracefulness was over.
She finally managed to get up and stay up. She whipped off the snow/ice off of her bum. She grabbed the edge of the ring and reached her hand out to the boy. “So yeah.” She didn’t know him, but she didn’t know a lot of people in Stewart and she liked to meet new people. “I’m Dasha by the way.” She smiled at the boy. He wore a green shirt and nice jeans. He was cute, way cute, but it wasn’t something she was thinking of right now. Dasha had other things on her mind the boys but she actually did have to notice he was cute.
((OMG THAT WAS THE MOST HORRIBLE THING IN THE WORLD.))

Chemistry was crazy from the get-go *; Neither one of us knew why. WE DIDN'T BUILD NOTHING OVERNIGHT. Quin had gotten over the embarrassment he usually felt when bumping into people. When you bumped into as many people as he did, you learned to get over the little stuff like that. He swallowed and chewed on his lip. The girl he had ran into was pretty, well pretty to him. People had different versions of what they thought pretty was. Well, anyways, she was to him.
"Ohh, sorry about that.. Uhm, I was kind of zoned out.. If that even makes sense.."
He said, wondering about that last statement a bit. Then, it suddenly hit him that he was still on the ground, and she had already managed to get up. He face hinted a little bit of red as he slowly got up off the ice. He made a slight face as he brushed off the ice/snow. These where his favorite pair of jeans. Hah, imagine that, a boy having a favorite pair of jeans. Then again, this was Quin, not just some ordinary boy. When she reached out her hand and spoke, he wasn't sure what to do. Most people didn't want to shake his hand. He stuck his hand out, shaking her hand a bit. "Hey, I'm Quin, nice to meet you Dasha." When she smiled, he couldn't help but smile back. Smiling and laughing was like drugs to Quin. It was contagious sort of, and he couldn't help but return it to the person. [/blockquote]
