Help a brother out and distract me. Gilbert's snaggletooth is making me cringe.

Gilbert makes me cringe in general. I had a nightmare that his snaggletooth was stabbing me to death freshman year. I would much prefer being in Guitar right now. Johnson's class rules. Our exam last year was to listen to The Wall by Pink Floyd. It was amazing. Is art like that? Does art even have an exam?

In a way. It's just a big assignment that counts as an exam. Last year it was that series of portraits of the important people in our lives and a self portrait. But art is a lot like music. Lucinda just always has records playing and we have to do something based on how it makes us feel. Like muse. Right now, she's stuck on the Pixies. There is generally a mix of pink and aliens. Pink aliens, usually. The Pixies just make me feel... loud.

Really? That sounds wicked cool. We do something like that in Guitar. He'll put on some instrumental record and just let us think, maybe write down a few lyrics or something. It's a shame it's only a 50-minute class period. I swear I could spend all day in there. But I have Chorus after that and Drumline after that so I suppose I'll make the Guitar room-band room-chorus room commute. Except then after Drumline I have chem with Santos. Kill me now. He's a demon.

That's why I love double art so much. And then fact that I have sketching this semester, too. And then I have painting and mixed medium next semester. Even though mixed medium is basically the same as art. Only advanced. It's the class that Lucinda invites you into. I almost peed my pants from happiness when she asked me to make room for it on my timetable. And that sucks. I have Bio with him. He hurts my sould.

Wow. So many art classes. I never knew we had that many. When I took art in elementary school I hated it. They forced us to draw all this stuff the curriculum and I failed at all of it. I wanted to kick a puppy.
We have a class like that, Advanced Guitar. It sounds so stupid. But that's next year for me though. I think there's only like fifteen people allowed in the class and they're giving the rights to seniors next year first. And since I'll be one I was like "!" score. Apparently it looks great on college transcripts too.
Oh God good luck. Bio was brutal with him. Especially the dissecting at the end of the year... puke.

I hated art in elementary school. The teacher always yelled at me 'cause I wouldn't do the stuff she told me to do. I like it much better now that I don't have to do what I'm told. Lucinda just turns on the music and tells me to go. And I go. But I've been having troubles going lately. :/
My portfolio for art school has gotten huge over the past two years because of art at Stewart. It's so much better than it was at my old school. If I had stayed there, I definitely wouldn't have been able to get into art school. Now I have a chance.
I'm dead already. He gave us homework on the first day. And told me to put on a clean shirt. What a jerk. And I don't wanna dissect things. Take my place, please?

I hated art in elementary school and I hate it now. Well, not like, your art. Or other people's art. My art. I didn't take it because... yeah. I suck at art that isn't music. And I consider music to be art. Art that you hear? I dunno.
You'll get into art school. Your stuff's great. I have no idea where I wanna go, though. I should probably start working. They say junior year's when you get everything done...
What a B. And I would if I could but I can't. I've got one period with him already and Wade told me we have a lab due on Friday already.

Music is art. Dance is art. Smiles are art.
I hope so. I don't know what I'll do if I don't get into RISD. I'm like... banking on that place.
But he's talking about cutting up a pig. I'll probably barff.

Isn't that the place the Greek chick from Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants wanted to go to? Oh dear Lord. I have been hanging out with Anne way too much.
Yeah... it was easier than I expected, though. It just smells a lot.

Heh. Yeah. It's a great school.
I still don't want to. It's a little piggy. I can't cut up a little piggy. But he already thinks I'm a hippy, so me saying I'm not going to do it would just make him hate me more.

I'm sure you'll get in.
You should walk in singing 'All You Need is Love' and wear peace signs and shit. Freak him out a little bit. (:

Bring some pot with you and give it to him as a present. I have a hookup... apparently Drumline isn't trippy enough for some people. Haha.
